Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using SkillsWorkbench.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SkillsWorkbench (“the Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Nexgen Tech Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16645313), trading as SkillsWorkbench.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to “you” include that organisation.
2. Description of Service
SkillsWorkbench is a web-based workspace for designing, testing, stress-testing, and evaluating Claude AI Skill prompts (“Skills”). The Service provides:
- An AI-assisted chat interface for drafting SKILL.md prompt files
- Stress-testing tools to probe edge-case behaviour of drafted Skills
- Evaluation generators for creating structured eval suites
- Download functionality to export completed Skill files locally
The Service does not deploy Skills to production AI systems on your behalf, nor does it store your Skill drafts, chat history, or evaluation results on our servers between sessions. All generated content exists in your browser session and is discarded when you close or refresh the page unless you explicitly download it.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.
The Service is not available to individuals or entities that are (i) located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, or (ii) listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
4. Account Registration

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that are used in violation of these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Design Skills intended to deceive, manipulate, or harm end users
- Generate, store, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including terminating accounts and reporting to law enforcement where required.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all Skill drafts, prompts, evaluation sets, and other content you create using the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process Your Content solely to operate the Service and deliver responses to you. We do not claim ownership over Your Content, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models.
Our Property
The Service, including its interface, design, underlying software, trade marks, and all original content produced by us, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned by or licenced to SkillsWorkbench. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our property without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party platforms, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses large language models (LLMs) to assist in generating Skill prompts, stress-test scenarios, and evaluations. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate for your intended use
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving any content before deploying it in a production system
- We make no warranties regarding the fitness, accuracy, or safety of AI-generated content for any purpose
- Prompts you send to the Service are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and are subject to Anthropic's usage policies
9. Fees and Payment
Access to the Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans at any time. If we introduce fees, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before charging existing users, and you may cancel your account before the billing date without charge.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, any data associated with your account that we hold will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 6, 11, 12, 13, and 14 survive termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- SkillsWorkbench, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the Service.
- Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkillsWorkbench and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at the address below and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of England and Wales in accordance with clause 14.
Consumer rights: Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights under UK or EU consumer protection law, including your right to bring a claim before a court in your country of residence or to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers in the European Union may also bring claims before the courts of their country of residence under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
